Picture of the Week – Starry Night

Over the past few months, I’ve been trying to get star shots and star trails where and when I can. I thought that on Turks, an island with relatively little development, I might be able to get an amazing set of sky shots. Well, between best intentions, baby and the weather, I got two. I was surprised that the Milky Way didn’t show up as well – though it was almost directly overhead, the lights of the resort managed to wash it out and on the nights I was able to get to a darker part of the resort or on the beach, it was cloudy. But all that being said, I did manage to get those couple of shots that really served to capture the sky.
