Pic of the week – ‘tater flower II

This is from the last set that I took before I cleaned my sensor, and you can see that there are some obvious spots. Shooting macro or ultrawide outside you’ll have pretty small apertures, so the spots are going to show pretty bad. But you can see how effective the Arctic Butterfly is by comparing this shot to some of the others that are from Jasper (either in my galleries at patientmanproductions or the Roche Miette shot on Flickr).

So what inspired this picture? Well the frost this week has taken out all the soft plants like the ‘taters, so I was lucky to get these when I did. I guess I have to dig up the swollen stollens soon, but after the patio gets installed.
