Well, you can’t write in your own name, but over the last few weeks I’ve been thinking about why Alberta has voted in a very lemming like fashion for the majority of the last four decades. They knew that a certain party was going to win anyway, so they voted for the local candidate in hopes that they would put enough votes behind that person to impress the leader into granting their representative a seat in cabinet. But what about tomorrow?
It seems that the ruling party is actually worried. You’ve got to think something is up when stories of anxiety are coming out of the right wing papers.
With any luck, there will be a minority at this time tomorrow with both sides of the political spectrum split and Alberta realising that “change” can’t come from the people who farked things up in the first place.
