Vista won’t need AV?

Not according to Jim Allchin, it seems that there is a “security through obscurity” (nee “Address Space Layout Randomization”) layer in the OS that should help protect the OS and the kernel. This doesn’t mean that there won’t ever be a Norton256 for the OS (or whatever version they are on by then) as people learn the system.
