Try this again – ultra mobile and ELearning 2

Ok the first time that I tried to post with the ubergadet, it didn’t work because of a time out and I didn’t copy it out.

I’m finding that being ultra mobile at a conference is the way to go as now I don’t have to worry about power for a laptop. Granted this is going to be a short conference and I don’t think my thumbs will be that much worse for wear.

The first session that i’m at brought up an interesting thought – cms as ELearning 1.0 is going to be only part of ELearning 2.0 as students have their content all over the place and the thought of being only in one place might be a quaint idea. If all these sources can be piped or glued together in some manner will be the flavour of the future. It looks like it is going to be something of a shift from course to community as teaching learners to navigate communities (Tom Brown). As the content no longer has to come only from the instructor.
