    It’s out and ready to talk to Y! as well (previously only the Y! Messenger could talk across the “line”. When you install it be ready for a wait if you have loads of conversations archived.

  • Vista to help Gamer’s Parents

    Looking at the news, Microsoft has introduced new controls to granularize the settings in games to allow parents to tweak any game that has Vista meta tagging and the “Games Explorer“. We can only hope that publishers encourage their developers to include these tags to help parents out.

  • Zune-ing in

    Microsoft has released the Zune specs. It looks retro (brown electronics) and seems to want to do many things. Some are calling it the iPod killer, but other are waiting. I guess we’ll see. But now I see that it won’t play DRMed content. I don’t think this is a good sign for the DRM…

  • Photosynth

    Ok, this is a knock out of the part for the boys in Redmond (via where ever they really are) – Photosyth can take stills and analyse them for similarities to create 3D space. That is quite the trick and an amazing addition for digital storytelling.
