Well it seems that blogs are an effective way of getting the attention of small developers (and if you are one, you should be checking to see what people are saying about what you have created). In the past I was working with one developer that had created some reaction time software and the response was always quick and relevant. This week, I’ve got a second experience to share that is like the first.
I wrote that Double Take was struggling with some of the new pannos that I was trying to put together and that I would stick with it for a while longer to see if things got better. Well they did… the developer wrote me through the blog and let me in on a few things that are happening behind the curtain and even showed me how I could get the same results as Calico in the environment that I’m familiar with.
If you are a hobbiest, you might be well advised to try to use software from “the little guys” as they are, just like you, in it for something far more grand than the quarterly report … btw did you see that Google made one BILLION this quarter… that is insane!
Here is the comparison if you are wondering. thanks again Henrik.
