The gerbs that I picked up from Costso almost a month ago are (or at least until this morning) still going strong and the smaller gendered flowers in the center opened up. I love shooting macros of those inner flowers as the details are so small and in a way they compose a rather alien landscape. I like this one this week because it plays with DOF on both sides and feels like my week – especially yesterday – a hole on one side, a wall on the other and so many little details in between.
