Well, I don’t think that Alan Doyle and Sean McCann with their supporting crew can put on a bad show. If I were to pick on anything, it would be that the “Event Center” tent at River Cree has some of the worst acoustics made worse my a sound engineer who seems not to understand that songs have a vocal component. They also didn’t play General Taylor.
But these were minor points as they had loads (sometimes vino powered) energy on stage, starting with Donkey Riding and ending on the second encore with Old Black Rum. In between there were some new songs from the upcoming Fourtune’s Favour (file folder or disc?) to be released on June 24th. Not much of a review, but hey, I was there to have fun.
