Google Sync – Doesn’t play with Missing Sync

Well it seems that for whatever reason Google Sync won’t pick up new events created in iCal and then synced to the Blackberry. So because the Google Calendar is far more accessible than my desktop bound iCal, I’ve switched back to Google Calendar after about a year using iCal/Entourage. This does allow one benefit – I can now share my calendar with others so they can see when I’m busy – something that I could not do before without using Exchange and that didn’t work very well.

I’ll use my iCal as a backup for my Blackberry but as for being my main calendar, I think it’s passed.
