Evernote

Windows users have been “blessed” with this utility for a while. Evernote allows users to capture text in images and archive/index/search them later on. I’m thinking that this could be a great tool for making classrooms accessible (assuming anyone, or anything can read the prof’s writing). Students could take shapshots of notes for later reference and to supplement their own notes. For those students who are visually impaired, this might be a solution as well – take the shot with the phone and upload it (get into the private beta here) to the service and have it accessible in short order.
