Bad Moodlerooms

Well, I was hoping to take in the session today from Moodlerooms about “Online Strategies and Best Practices”, but it seems that the webcast service that they use has only limited support for Mac. Bad bad bad… why would an open source based company use a closed (Real Player to boot) system for it’s webcast? On principle, I’m not going to fire up a VM and work within there to get this. I’ve downloaded the presentation and I’ll get the jist from that.

Sorry about that, we didn’t choose the webcast service – it was handled by the Chronicle. 1/2 of our staff and all of our developers use Macs here – so we’re definitely not PC-centric.
