There are many camps, seemingly more so in the US that believe that IQ is a true measure of one’s potential. So when I saw this story in my reader this morning, I thought it might be something interesting after reading the headline “Why IQ Matters”. But then seeing the graph that is the post, I was again disappointed, but I think there is something that can be salvaged from the chart if you cut off the IQ BS.
This is starting to look like Bloom’s if you used it as a “scare” strategy as well. It’s still not very useful, but at least you can see where rote memory can get you and where synthesis and evaluation get you as well.
