Well it was Edmonton’s turn this week to get the massive snow and cold whammy, so I though this would be more than appropriate. I shot it early in the morning before shovels or anything else could disturb the surface of the fresh snow. Shooting that early meant that I was using the amazingly yellow street lights as my only light. Thankfully shooting RAW allowed me to nicely shift the color cast without increasing the noise had I shot in JPG. Looking at it after the fact, it would have been a really fun shot to do with a tilt shift lens or a lensbaby.
