Well, winter in Edmonton was inevitable, so I thought this shot from the Festival of Trees was fitting for today. After all, Yukon did make his way through some of the most fierce weather to help out Rudolph. I was holding Bug while I was taking these shots, so I was shooting more or less blind (using the focus points to compose), relying on a fair bit of guessing and chimping. I’m not that happy with the colors, but that’s what there was on the cake and shooting at 800 does tend to force some compromise.
