When I was in London, riding the Tube from Westminster to Neasdon, I saw the headline for a story on one of the many papers that was littering the car as I was getting off “British Pupils do Better with Broadband”.
I don’t know what the story was, but I can only assume that it was something about students doing better if they have access to a broadband connection at home and school to be able to gather materials and content and presumably share as well. But it seems that the school half of that equation isn’t really pulling its weight. Apparently technophobic teachers are wasting billions. I can assure you, sadly, that this is not a British problem, I would think this is a problem across North Atlantic schools. I can’t speak for Asia or Africa. – Story via OLDaily.
