According to C|Net, China has been hacking away at New Zealand after also sanctioning action against Germany, the US and UK. I am taking this with a grain of salt (or MSG) right now, as I can’t bring myself to believe that something like this would happen and only C|Net would pick it up. But then again, Estonia got hammered and only Wired carried the news. The second story points out that indeed, it may not be the state that has carried out the activity – it may merely have been zombies that are spoofing their location to be from China – afterall, in the virtual world, what does a point on a geographical map really mean?
