I was hunting around for stuff this morning and I pulled up an interesting story (Regular Google) that the US Navy had asked YouTube to pull a video from pumpit01 because:
Under Pentagon rules, images of any part of a ship’s nuclear plant cannot be shown to foreign nationals.
Part of the video shows someone dancing in a radiation suite and the area inside the reactor space on the Reagan. Apparently this is enough to commit very bad things to the ship… we know that the inside of the room has paper, and is grey and that they have yellow radiation suits that you can dance in… someone should get these facts together and get to Totem and build their own carrier… Are the US armed forces really that paranoid?
I guess they are. If you read some of the other stories from the Google search, it seems that the US military is really starting to get worried about small cameras, bloggers and the like running around on the inside.
If it were me in the US Navy command, I would get this guy into the recruiting office, get him a crew and do these up – not that I want to get more people signed up to go to war, but if you are gonna do this, do it right…
It all reminds me of the music videos that we used to put together as a kid – btw, I know where there is a copy of this video if you want to see it.
