Over the last week, I’ve come across a couple of interesting applications, the first is Skitch. It’s a way to take screen shots and share them with annotations quickly and easily. While this is not something that you can’t already do with the tools that are common to the common OSes today, it’s a task that is often more time consuming than it needs to be and required programs that are overkill if you want to add annotation and sharing also requires a bit of know how. All these are simplified with this application as it includes access to a sharing site.
The second is the Jing Project. This allows for still and video captures and also facilitates sharing. This one seems to be open to everyone start using it right away through it’s beta.
