Homework is mine!

This is something that has likely been brewing for a long while, but listening to As it Happens this week, this story has come to light. I’ve never been a fan of these automated systems, and personally I think that if you are going to try to catch cheaters, instructors should do the footwork on their own… they should be at least as competent as the students that they are trying to catch. There are many students in universities here in Canada that have rejected the use of this service as part of their grading.

I hope the students win this case as it seems like the ultimate leach of the students as this company is getting rich by (for all intents and purposes) enslaving the intellectual property of the students that are forced to use the service.

Other services that deal with this include myDropBox, and EVE2.
