It seems that RIM was trying to get a touch screen device to market by the end of this year, but it looks like we can look forward (GN) to seeing this by the summer of next year.
Having used the iPod touch, and the iPhone, the actual keyboard is something that, either because I’m used to it, or because of it’s physical presence, I like. The virtual keyboard on the iSlates is easy enough to get the hang of and the suggested words come up quick enough, but the tactile response that is missing seems to get to me after a while. Perhaps this will change with more use, but in the mean time, I like the keyboards.
