Intel’s Eduwise rechristened Classmate PC – we need a Frankenkinderlappy

I mentioned this device before, but now, Intel has rolled out it’s Classmate PC. The big advantage that this will likely have over the OLPC or MS versions of the kinderlappy is that Intel is also big into WiMax, something that will allow these machines to connect to the world on a much grander scale than traditional WiFi will. The problem is the power – that is where OLPC’s kinderlappy shines.

Ideally, we should have a kinderlappy with WiFi, WiMax, flash storage, Linux and a crank/pullstring power supply.
