Well, this seems to get back to the basics of how I started into photography (many $$s later as the case may be). Flowers are basic, flower centers are even more so and when well done, they still are worth gold. This one is an “almost there” as it seems that Flickr has an issue with keeping all the colors when the file goes up to the servers. The colors in Smugmug are also muted, but Flickr is worse, I’ve got to see what Aperture might be doing as well.
But this rose is like this week – ready for a rest, and after doing the basics, has got a “rosey outlook”. Yup, the Ball Busters had a solid game last night doing the basics and with any luck, we’ll be able to reap the rewards next week.
