Well, this is from an old series, but in honor of the ducklings and goslings that I finally saw on the lake on my run this morning, I thought it would be fitting. There was certainly much more activity out there this morning (granted, I haven’t been out there much this week with hockey and late nights), so I hoping that there might be someone new there, and sure enough on the way back, a family of ducks was crossing the path and as I got closer, the mom duck started hustling her little fuzzballs to the water and the dad was just quacking up a storm.
As for this shot, I think this might have been the best of the series.
You might notice that this image looks rather dull – Smugmug has a much better version. It seems that Flickr does something nasty with the colors on the upload, maybe it’s a pro/non pro thing.
Last week I also hit 100 PoWs… this week is 101… I wonder what kind of shots this century will bring.
