So, this is my second US election night away from home. The first one was when Bush Jr was elected the second time. Back then, I was attending a conference in Washington DC. I watched with trepidation as the results came in. Fast forward eight years. Sitting in the Calgary airport watching Obama win his second term, with a very different feeling. People around are happy, almost bouncing. Now only if we can get as engaged in our own politics.
